Kowary – Okraj Pass – road closed
August 15 is a traditional day for a sports challenge in Kowary – a climb to the Okraj Pass.
For the 27th time, a road cycling race will take place from the old town of Kowary up to an altitude of 1050 m as part of the VeloBank Via Dolny Śląsk – Road Classic – Kowary – Okraj. On Thursday (15 August), the race will begin with an individual time trial from the center of Kowary to the Okraj Pass (finish line on the PL–CZ border).
From 8:30 to 11:45 a.m. the streets of Kowary and the road to Okraj Pass will be closed: Pocztowa, Wolności Avenue, Rejtana Street, road 367 – Kowary to Kowarska Pass, road 369 – Kowarska Pass to Kowary Crossroad, road 368 – Kowary Crossroad to Okraj Pass (PL–CZ border).
