Crazy Happening in Malá Úpa – Moopstock 2025

Moopstock 2025: A Crazy End to the Winter Season in Malá Úpa

It was amazing! On Saturday, March 29, we celebrated the end of the winter season at the Pomezky area the way it should be done in Malá Úpa – with costumes, laughter, water, and an incredible atmosphere. Moopstock 2025 once again proved that here in the mountains, we know how to have a great time.

The heart of the event was the traditional pond, which challenged all the brave souls who decided to cross it – whether on skis, a snowboard, dressed as Elvis, or on some other floating contraption. The audience laughed, cheered, clapped… and sometimes even the first-row spectators caught a splash.

Prizes went not only to those who made it across but also to those who ended their ride with a stylish fall into the water. And there were plenty of them! Creative costumes, good vibes, great music, and lots of familiar faces made this year’s Moopstock another unforgettable edition.

An Evening with a Mountain Legend

After a day full of fun, we moved to the Mammut Bar, where we enjoyed another special experience – a travel lecture by Mára Holeček, a top Czech mountaineer and author of the book Dotknout se štěstí ("Touching Happiness"). Mára took us into the world of high mountains, courage, danger, and deep life reflections.

Thanks to everyone who came – whether as competitors, spectators, organizers, or supporters. It was a day full of joy, creativity, and shared moments – and it’s exactly these times that make Malá Úpa what it is.
