In Austria, you will find longer slopes and maybe even try out a few foreign phrases, and the mountain landscape there is perhaps even more expressive. But you can believe us when we say that no Austrian skiing experience has the irresistible Czech atmosphere, full of romance and mountain beauty.
We are one of the highest Czech winter resorts, with amazing views of Sněžka and other thousand-meter peaks in the area. Our slopes have almost guaranteed snow cover and we offer several trails for different skill levels. Our snow grooming team takes care of the slopes with love and according to the latest procedures and technologies.
The Ski Areál Malá Úpa consists of two areas – Pomezky and U Kostela, with 13 slopes and 9 lifts of varying difficulty. There is skiable access between the areas.
On the slopes, you can enjoy excellent food, and right on the border with Poland, you can have a Trautenberk beer – full of character and perfectly refreshing.
If you’re unsure about your skiing skills, our experienced instructors from the Ski School will ensure your safety and help you to improve. For the youngest skiers, we have a children’s park with a covered conveyor belt (75 m).
Throughout the winter season, we prepare a regular program, which you can find in the events calendar. The program is for all ages – children’s races, fun in the Kids’ Park in Pomezky, children’s theatre, workshops, film afternoons and evenings in the new cinema at the Hořec Center, and much more. There’s a reason we say: Malá Úpa – Big Fun!
