We are the highest ski area in the Czech Republic. Malá Úpa sits at 1,050 m a.s.l. – the best snow guarantee around. Beginners enjoy gentle slopes and kids’ parks; more confident riders can try steeper pistes. Lifts, runs and connectors make it easy to move between Pomezky and U Kostela.

3. Perfectly groomed slopes, friendly lifties
Our snowmaking, machines and seasoned groomers keep pistes in top condition. Add friendly lift staff to help out and a customer line for any questions – you and your kids can enjoy worry-free skiing, just as a family area should be.
4. Olympic season in Malá Úpa
This year all of Malá Úpa lives the Olympic season. We’re preparing a packed programme so you can soak up the Games atmosphere in the mountains. We cheer for all Olympians – and the future ones too. Maybe your child will be one – at least in our games and contests.
5. Children’s ski parks
Two Kids Parks (at Pomezky and U Kostela) are safe, fun places for first turns. With an extended covered magic carpet (75 m), colourful aids and instructors kids love, learning is an adventure, not a stress. Open daily 8:30–16:00.

Ski school
In our SKOOL Ski School, instructors teach kids and adults 1:1 or in small closed groups. We recommend booking in advance, especially in peak season.
7. Kids’ races
Each season we run regular kids’ races and contests so little skiers can taste real competition – timing, diplomas and the joy of beating their best. This season in an Olympic spirit.

8. Skating by day and under the stars
Public skating at the highest rink in the Czech Republic is a memory-maker. Skate by day and evening all season. Leave your skates at home – we’ll rent them. Pay on site (kids 170 CZK / adults 220 CZK). Skimu Pack holders skate free.
9. Our own cinema and live concerts
Our cinema hall at Centrum Hořec hosts shared film moments for kids and adults. In winter we’ll run the cinema and an Olympics FAN ZONE, so the vibe will be buzzing. If the weather turns too wild, we screen kids’ favourites to warm up little hearts – while parents catch a breath.
The hall also transforms into a concert venue with great sound. Legends like Hudba Praha, Sto zvířat and Vladimír Mišík traditionally return to Malá Úpa – and this year is no different.

10. Creative workshop “Nadechni se”
The Nadechni se creative workshop immerses kids in colour, craft and imagination. Dana Augustová’s sessions brighten winter days – and you’ll take home a handmade souvenir: enamel mugs, glass beads or beaded crafts. Held at Galerie Celnice Tue–Fri, 13:00–17:00.
11. Sports hall
For active downtime, use the sports hall at Apartmány Sport: tennis, basketball or football – perfect when the weather won’t play ball.
12. Café and the Malá Úpa shop
Centrum Hořec has everything for a great day – with Café Hořec at its heart. Modern design meets cosy mountain feel, big windows with views and details that show Malá Úpa’s soul. The aroma of great coffee and fluffy pancakes is our sweet little tradition. There’s also a small souvenir shop to take a piece of Malá Úpa home.

One skibus runs Pomezní boudy – Spálený mlýn. It mainly serves skiers for easy movement around the area.
